Christmas comes and goes so fast
Years ago I wished it would last
But now I tire of it all
The songs do my head in
And should be discarded in the bin
The forced jollity can take a back seat
People ought to be friendly all year
And smiley and happy like a teddy bear
You have to be careful not to give
the unwanted present back to the person
you received it from a year later
Or you will find yourself in a crater
Blown up with frazzled hair
And the one who done it wouldn’t care
All because of consumerist Christmas
